Legs Misérables

We're fundraising for nature and wildlife

Meet Legs Misérables: my girlfriend and I, plus whatever brave souls we've managed to convince that climbing 1,776 steps up the CN Tower sounds like a good time. (Recruitment is ongoing. Send help. Or snacks.)

This is our second year taking on WWF-Canada's Climb for Nature, and we're back because — despite what our legs said at the top last year — we genuinely love this planet and want to fight for it. We're the kind of people who get irrationally excited about wildlife documentaries, argue about which Canadian species is most underrated, and somehow thought "let's do that again" was a reasonable response to last year's climb.

On May 2–3, 2026, we'll tackle all 1,776 steps of one of the world's most iconic structures, together. Since the first Climb for Nature 34 years ago, tens of thousands of people have climbed those same steps wwf, and last year climbers collectively took over 11 million steps for nature. We want ours to count too.

Every dollar raised supports WWF-Canada's work to restore and protect Canada's wild spaces — the forests, wetlands, and habitats that wildlife depend on to survive.

So if you've ever wanted to support nature and watch two people question their life choices in real time, this is your moment. Donate to Team Legs Misérables and help us wheeze our way to the top for a cause that genuinely matters. 🌿🦫
