WWF Climb for Nature x Anywhere

I am fundraising for Canadian nature and wildlife

For the third year in a row, I’m taking on WWF-Canada’s Climb for Nature, but this year, I’m doing it with a bit of a twist. Thanks to WWF-Canada’s Climb from Anywhere, I’ll be tackling the challenge halfway across the world, trekking through the African bush in Botswana.

Instead of climbing the CN Tower’s 1,776 steps, I’ll be taking on 25,000 steps in a single day through the bush. No stairwell, no skyline, just dust, heat, and wild places. While I won’t be climbing in Toronto this year, I’m showing up, stepping up, and fundraising in support of WWF-Canada’s critical work to restore nature, reverse wildlife loss, and tackle climate change, impacts felt not only across Canada, but around the globe. Yes, even in Botswana.

My first Canadian conservation project focused on the caribou crisis in Northern Ontario, where habitat loss driven by human disturbance continues to threaten these iconic animals. Supporting WWF-Canada means helping protect and steward millions of hectares of diverse, healthy ecosystems, making a real, measurable difference for wildlife like caribou. That’s why I’m back for my third Climb for Nature… even if this one’s gone fully global.

So let’s do this! Donate if you can, join the team in Toronto for the climb, or challenge yourself to Climb from Anywhere alongside me.
