WWF Climb for Nature x CN Tower

I am fundraising for nature and wildlife

I've committed to climbing the CN Tower in May to support WWF-Canada. I am totally up for this physical and fundraising challenge!

While I am doing my part, I am counting on you to help me reach my fundraising goal. The funds I raise will help support WWF-Canada's efforts to restore nature, reverse wildlife loss and fight climate change.

Together we can Regenerate Canada.

Ingot Vest? Big thanks to Capt. Plinke!

Thursday 23rd Apr
My friend came through with a loan on a weighted vest.  You may see me wear it in the office.  My hamstrings are not fans

Climbing Nike

Tuesday 21st Apr
Check out the new Nikes!  They're not designed to make me faster. I am counting on them to hold me up so I don't break a hip.

Climb in a Kilt?

Monday 20th Apr
My brother-in-law (see above) has offered a challenge for me to make the climb in the Hay kilt. I will take that challenge if I can get half a dozen $50 donations.

Taunting from Relative/Sponsor

Sunday 19th Apr
Hi, are you F-----G CRAZY? I'll send you $25.00 to keep your feet on the ground...that thing is taller in reality than looking at a picture. If you are just trying to sneak in an open roof Blue Jays game, let me know and we will send money for nose bleed seats. How are you going to eat lunch...what happens if you need a washroom? What's the plan if you change your mind half way up...do you just let go??? I've been told large birds of prey attack anything that moves on the sides of that thing...can you use an elevator if it's a rainy day? How many times have I  said that homemade wine you make will gradually get to your brain...I now believe it has taken control! Will you be able to answer your cell phone, not that I would ever think of calling you. An extra $25.00 if you wear your kilt...if you don't have it, I can send one...but I want it back...oh 'ya...don't go commando, maybe a little too breezy!
Good Luck

Committed

Saturday 18th Apr
After a long period of procrastination, I have committed to doing the climb in May. It is making my training feel more purposeful. Thanks for your ongoing support.
