Stepping into something that challenges me.
A few weeks ago, I ran my first full 10K without stopping.
Going into it, I didn’t know exactly how it would feel or how I’d hold up through the entire distance. But somewhere along the run, I realized it wasn’t really about the finish, it was about staying with it the whole way through. Holding my pace, not backing off more than I needed to, and seeing it through exactly as I started.
That experience stayed with me.
It made me trust my capacity a little more. Like I know what it feels like to stay in something longer than what’s comfortable, and come out stronger on the other side of it.
So when I signed up for the WWF CN Tower Climb, I didn’t overthink it. I chose the Elite category. 1776 steps, no breaks.
This feels like a continuation of that same energy. Just a different format, a new kind of effort, and another chance to step into something that challenges me.
At the same time, this climb supports WWF's work in protecting wildlife and restoring nature. It means a lot to be able to take on something personal while contributing to something larger.
If you'd like to support, you can do so through a donation on my fundraising page, I'd really appreciate it. And either way, I'm fully committed to seeing this through, showing up on May 3rd, ready to take on every single step.
