WWF Climb for Nature x CN Tower

I am fundraising for nature and wildlife

I've committed to climbing the CN Tower in April to support WWF-Canada. I am totally up for this physical and fundraising challenge!

While I am doing my part, I am counting on you to help me reach my fundraising goal. The funds I raise will help support WWF-Canada's efforts to restore nature, reverse wildlife loss and fight climate change.

Here is the picture that WWF took of me on the final steps of the climb.
Do I really look like someone who just climbed 1,776 steps non-stop in 20:12minutes?
No sweat!

Well . . .

I Crushed It with a time of 20:12 minutes going non-stop all the way to the top.

And thanks to your support, we raised $574 for WWF-Canada's Regenerate Canada project.

more stairs

Lundi 15th Apr
Today I climbed the Wentworth stairs 3 1/2 full climbs for about 2100 steps.
Then, because I still had a little energy, I went for an 8km hike that had a total vertical ascent of about 120m (compared to about 340m for the Tower) over 4 big hills.

Training continues

Mercredi 10th Apr
Today I completed 3 climbs of the Wentworth stairs in Hamilton.  I start a little lower down the hill before the stairs themselves making each climb about 600 steps.  So, a total of about 1800 steps compared to the 1776 of the CN Tower.  Total time, up and down, was 44 minutes.
And, after I was done, I went on a 14km hike on the Bruce Trail.
