For the greater good and future of Wildlife and Nature!!!

We brought our first female feline about 6 months old to our home in 2018. Gosh! Were we all so excited.

After everyone left for work or school, I would be the one at home with her. The initial 2 weeks or so, my heart would start racing in fear when she would run, jump or leap around the home. My mind was like 'tiger, cat family', she's going to attack any moment on account of her predator instincts. Then I would tell myself 'calm down, breath, she is domisticated and much much smaller'. We had hearty laughs at myself as a family. After and during those initial weeks, she would follow me everywhere and stay by my side. A very sweet, quiet and comforting being who has now become an important emmber of our family.

Fastforward in 2021 we brought a male feline kitten hardly 3 weeks old. He was quite a handful and the baby of our house. He would fit into my palms and I could feel his whole body pounding as a big heart. Time flies fast and now they are adults and we just cannot imagine our lives without them.

From my personal experiences, I've grown to love animals. I have learnt that they can be innocent, comforting, caring, perceptive just like humans. They are wonderful gifts of nature. My felines get care and protection from me. While I can't help wildlife animals the same way, I can care for them through this.

We - humans, wildlife and nature - are an integral & vital part of/for each other's existence.

It is important to conserve wildlife and nature for present and future generations. I would like to support WWF in this venture and hence have challenged myself to participate in this climb.
