WWF Climb for Nature x CN Tower

I am fundraising for nature and wildlife

I've committed to climbing the CN Tower in May to support WWF-Canada. I am totally up for this physical and fundraising challenge!

While I am doing my part, I am counting on you to help me reach my fundraising goal. The funds I raise will help support WWF-Canada's efforts to restore nature, reverse wildlife loss and fight climate change.

Together we can Regenerate Canada.

My Updates

Mom vs. The Tower: The Rematch No One Asked For (But I’m Doing It Anyway)

Tuesday 3rd Mar
They say what goes up must come down, but on May 2nd, I’m ignoring physics and heading straight up. Specifically, I’m tackling the 1,776 steps of the CN Tower.
Why? That’s an excellent question. My knees would also like an answer.
The Evolution of the Climb
To understand the stakes, we have to look at the "Tape of the Tale":
2016 Me: Zero children. Ten years younger. I finished in 16 minutes and 32 seconds. I probably celebrated with a nap and a quiet brunch.
2023 Me: Two children (who are basically human-shaped chaos engines). I finished in 18 minutes and 3 seconds. I probably celebrated by folding laundry while someone yelled for a snack.
The Goal: The "Sweet 17"
This year, I’ve got a nearly 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. Between chasing them and carrying "tired" toddlers up the stairs at home, I’m basically in accidental cross-training 24/7.
My target for 2026? 17 minutes flat. Is it ambitious? Yes. Is it slightly crazy to pay for the privilege of feeling like my lungs are on fire? Absolutely. But if I can survive a rainy Saturday with two kids under seven without losing my mind, 1,776 concrete steps should be a breeze, right?
Wish me luck (and maybe send some oxygen and a knee brace to the observation deck).
