We are fundraising for nature and wildlife
Our family is taking on the stairs at BC Place for the WWF Climb for Nature!
This all started because youngest has been learning about wildlife conservation in her Grade 1 classroom, and as a family, we decided to turn that lesson into real-world action.
On Saturday, our crew of four is hitting the stadium to tackle the single bowl climb (3000 steps up and down) together. We are moving at a 6-year-old’s pace (possibly a bit fast for us grown-ups!), armed with water bottles and plenty of scheduled rest breaks to make sure it's a relaxed, fun day. We are mostly focused on spotting the stadium mascots and completing all those steps as a team!
While we handle the physical climbing, we would love your help with the fundraising side. The money we raise stays right here to help WWF-Canada protect local BC ecosystems. This includes restoring vital wild salmon habitats in the Lower Fraser watershed, replanting forests damaged by Interior wildfires, and reducing shipping noise and pollution to save the endangered Southern Resident killer whales in the Salish Sea.
Thank you so much for backing our family team!
