I am fundraising for nature and wildlife
This year, I’m once again taking part in WWF’s Climb for Nature — but instead of stairs, as I did last year, I’ll be “climbing” in my own way: by hiking the Sleeping Giant.
There’s something truly powerful about being out on that trail. The towering cliffs, the endless views, and the deep blue waters of Lake Superior stretching as far as the eye can see — it’s a reminder of just how incredible and fragile our natural world is. Standing there, surrounded by that kind of beauty, you can’t help but feel connected to the land in a deeper way.
Nature has always been a huge part of my life. I care deeply about all forms of it — the land, the water, the trees, plants, animals, and every creature that calls this planet home. It grounds me, inspires me, and constantly reminds me why it’s so important that we protect these places — not just for ourselves, but for future generations.
That’s why I’m proud to support WWF again this year. Every step along the Sleeping Giant is a step toward raising awareness and helping conserve the wild spaces we all depend on.
If you’re able to, please consider supporting my climb. And if not, I hope you find some time to get outside, breathe it in, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
Together we can Regenerate Canada.
